Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Underage purchase of alcohol/possesion of alcohol
I am twenty years old and I walked into a convienient store and bought a six pack of beer without using a fake id. Is there any way around the offense since I was not asked for id? My court date is scheduled 4 days before i travel across the country for school. Any advice on how to handle the situation? What should i plead?

I don't think the fact that they did not ID you would be a defense. But if you don't have a record and don't want one you might want to consider pleading not guilty and hiring a lawyer. I'm not sure what court you're in but perhaps some type of diversion program would be available.
