Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

back child support

Have you ever heard of an agree judgment entry? The state of Ohio, the Stark County Child protection Services, has been taking my income tax returns & has started taking money out of my pay. I've had my son w/ me here in Georgia since '97, ( his father couldn't handle him) we didn't sign any papers until 2000 & then I had both Of my kids. The state of Ohio is charging me for this time-1997 -2000. They won't accept school records or anything else, they said the only way to stop this is to get an agreed judgment entry. Please help, do I need to get an attorney in Ohio or can I use someone here in Georgia?

Re: back child support

If the decree is in Ohio, you need to get a printout from Child Support, and see what has been paid, and what is owed. Once you have those numbers, then you can draft a judgment entry to properly indicate what the children's circumstances have been over the time in question.
