Bad/Crooked Attorneys

How can a vulnerable/battered wife filing for divorce find out if her attorney is appropriately representing her or dealing w/opposing counsel and selling her out?

Consult another attorney. You will get the best advice if you pay for the consultation. Call your local bar association for a referral. Call your local women's shelter for a referral. Or speak with friends you can trust for referrals. Tell them exactly what your situation. I would be happy to discuss this with you as well.
