Can you get custody of a child that is in the custody of children services?

In Ohio, the answer is that it depends upon the circumstances. The courts are going to try to do what is in the best interests of the child. If there is someone who is related to the child and is found to be able to provide a fit home for the child, then children's services would strongly consider such an arrangement.
