Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

How to get a divorce when people live in 2 different states?

My husband moved to Arizona recently and I live in Ohio. He's demanding for a dissolution. If he files in Az do I have to go down there for a court hearing? Money is tight and I cant afford the trip anytime soon. What will happen if I dont show up?

Filing for dissolution in a particular jurisdiction has a residency requirement. You can make this simpler by initiating the dissolution in Ohio.
