Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Hi, my ex-husband and I live in Ohio and were divorced in 2004 but got back together the same year. In 2010 we had a son together and were told by a lawyer in town that we can't share joint custody of him because we live together. This sounds ridiculous to me. We just want to share custody of him.

You can share custody of your son since you are already doing that. You can modify the terms of your separation agreement/shared parenting agreement to reflect this. But, since you and he are living together you don't have to do this.
