Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My husband and I had a huge argument last night, which more than likely we will divorce..We have one child-2 yrs old..My husband has taken my phone and we have two vehicles which both are in his name but he has taken the keys to both and will not let me have access to either one. I have a job that I need the car for and had to call in today and cannot miss work tomorrow. Does he have to let me have one of the vehicles at this point ?

In Ohio, the vehicles are his if they are in his name and he can do what he wants to with them. However, the moment you file for a divorce or legal separation, the domestic court can order that one of the vehicles be given over to you during the pendency of the divorce action and eventually all of the property and debts of the marriage will be split between the two of you in a way that the court considers to be fair.
