Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Scared

I was told by my husband that he was no longer happy and wanted to divorce. He told me that he would make my life miserable if I didn't follow his way of handling things. We have 3 children, and I was told I would never see them again if I didn't follow his rules. Should I seek an attorney and file for temp custody? If I leave now with the children, could he use that against me in court?

Your husband is threatening you so he can control the situation. You should have an attorney representing you so that these threats don't get out of hand, and if he is abusive, you should have a plan in place to go where he can't hurt you. I suggest you talk to a woman's sheltor or adult protective services.
