Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Shared Parenting

I live in Pittsburgh. My girlfriend w/2

kids (4 and 2) lives in Ohio, Portage

County. She has primary custody

and is residential parent. Her X who

travels frequently sees the kids

sometimes once a week (2hrs.) and

evey other wknd.

If we were to get married, could she

move to Pittsburgh and bring her 2

children with her?

Re: Shared Parenting

Maybe. It depends on what the actual divorce decree says. Typically, if you move a significant distance (greater than 30 miles), you have to inform the other party and wait for approval or resistance. Feel free to contact me and we'll discuss it at a greater length.
