transferring gaurdianship

i wish to know how i can transfer guardian ship of a minor child to my sister. i have total custody. the biological father is not in the picture. it's in the best interest of this child to change the gauardianship because of better opptunities for the child. the child is 16.

It should be a simple procedure through Probate Court. You will have to send notice to the father, however. Assuming no one objects, it should go through smoothly.
