visitation rights

The mother of my son's baby is denying visitation rights. They were never married, but the child has his last name. Does he need a lawyer? What steps should he take? He is paying child support that he voluntarily signed up for.

He should establish parentage, visitation rights, and child support through the court system so that the rights of all the parties and clear and determined.

If the mother is not allowing him to see the child, then he should ask the court for visitation rights. I would advise him to consult a lawyer, especially if he is already paying child support. If he is in the Columbus area he can call our firm for a free consultation.
