Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

co-signers

If I co-signed for a car and school loans for my daughter and she is refusing to work to pay them back is there anything that I can do to either make her get a job or remove my name from the loans? I have been paying the car loan but the school loans are piling up.

If you have the title to the vehicle, then you can do what you want with it, including selling it. If not, I guess you could sue her if she was over 18 at the time the "contract" between you two was made (it would have to be some kind of breach of contract suit, I believe)
