I had engine work done in wisconsin. 2 months later I have breakdown and need to do work again. shop says cause of breakdown was improper installation and poor worlmanship. paid $5800.00 and lost 20 days revenue. I live in ohio and would like to sue for losses and cost of repairs. can I sue in ohio and what is limits on small claims

Most likely you will need to sue the company or person who did the engine work in the State of Wisconsin. You can only sue in the State of Ohio If the person or company has enough contacts with the State of Ohio. Generally a negligence claim must be brought in the state where the negligence occurred. The limit for Small Claims Court in Ohio is $3,000.00.
