Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

J1 waiver and adjustment of status

i entered us on a j-1 visa to which 2 year rule applies. I married my boy friend of many years while in us and applied for the waiver and the adjustment of status. Now i find out that the waiver is almost impossible to get. What do we do now? Can we settle in Canada for these 2 years? Will we have to start the process all over again after 2 years? What are our options?

Re: J1 waiver and adjustment of status

Our law firm has been successful in obtaining J-1 waivers for multiple clients in our 16 years of experience. Depending on your situation, we can evaluate your case and let you know how we can help. As for settling in Canada, you must reside two years in your home country so unless you are Canadian, that will not work. Contact us for a consultation. We reopen tues. Jan 2, 2006.
