Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio

Dental rules

My question: I had a tooth pulled believing it was the only option the aray showed as cracked horizontle from the

Xray .After pulling tooth it looked intact and not broken the way the xray showed wondering why I ask the next visit to the girl that assited ..she explained it was factor not broken in half like tha xray showed ...well given that info would that have made a differance on repairing..? I looked online and everything I found is telling me that tooth could have been repaired and not pulled . My main problem is I will have to pay 3,000 for one tooth to replace that pulled tooth but if he had crowned the tooth that would have only cost 600.00 which the insurance would have paid half..But now it is too late If I have another denist examine the xray and would be willing to write letter ..Would I have a case ?

Dentist cases, as are many med mal cases, are tough. BUT, if you can get another dentist that will testify that your situation fell below a standard of care, you might have a case.
