If I have a judgement by the court against me without me being present am I able to get a extension and seek legal help

A judgment is the end of a lawsuit's lifespan. So while you cannot get an extension (there is nothing to extend), you could seek to overturn the judgment, so long as (1) you had a good excuse regarding your lack of knowledge of the lawsuit and (2) you have a valid defense to the lawsuit.
