Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Terminated for dating?

I have an employment contract with a company for 9 months. On my 6 month anniversary, I received a call stating that they terminated my employment. I was not given a reason as to why. But, the day previous, I was told that someone had filed a complain against me and my girlfriend because the other worker felt it unprofessional that two people date in the same department. I have a hint that that was the reason for termination. I think the employee made up a story and they believed it without asking me of it. I have contacted my former boss and I have been told that she is under no grounds having to disclose why I was terminated. Is there a case here? Is there any way to force the company to disclose if that is why they terminated me? Is there anything at all I can do?

Re: Terminated for dating?

What does the contract say? Does it discuss termination?

Re: Terminated for dating?

It depends entirely on the language of the contract.
