Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio

Yes we are in the process of moving because our landlord makes us pay more than everyone else and hasn't fixed our furnace in over 6 months and we have a toddler and I am 31 weeks pregnant and she knows we're moving and she was asked to use our first month rent plus deposit to cover Octobers rent and she won't , well she has come into our home twice without notice or permission the 1st time I was upstairs sleeping with my daughter and she rudely insulted me as a parent and harassed my father who doesn't live there . The second time no one was home and she left it on my voicemail saying she is coming to throw all our stuff out so I called the sheriffs office and she said that she will sue me and them if they try to stop her and hung up on me.

In Ohio, it is a violation of the law, R.C. 5321.15, to threaten to engage in a self help eviction (throwing people's stuff out rather than engaging in a statutory eviction. If you win the case, and I can't see how you would not if you have her threat on voicemail, then you can get damages and attorneys fees.
