Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Ohio

Does the tenant have to oblige the landlord if the landlord wishes to sell the property before the lease is expired? For example a tenant is occupying a dwelling currently and just gave a 60 day notice. His landlord expressed that he wishes to sell the property by the time the current tenant leaves, thus requiring the tenant to be part of the showing of the property. Does the tenant have to allow the landlord to be able to do this?

Generally, yes. The landlord/realtor should give as much notice of the showings as possible. With real estate showings, it is generally difficult to give 24 hours notice. The tenant must cooperate with the showings. I'm sure if you talk with your landlord, you can work out some agreeable schedule.
