Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

Injured while installing light fixture

While installing a light fixture both of my thumbs were punctured by large sharp points inside a decorative cover causing intense pain and blood running down my arms. The directions did not include any warnings about removing the covers (not held in place by screws, etc.) or warnings about the sharp points. I adhered to all directions including using ''care, caution, and common sense'' and the admonition to read all directions before proceeding. A letter to the company has yielded responses from three different people, including the company's vice-counsel, stating they can't help me until I make a demand. Is this actionable? Should I pursue? I feel that I was injured at least as much as someone who spills hot coffee on themselves.

Re: Injured while installing light fixture

If the company is requesting a demand then that would indicate some liability. I would suggesst making a demand for cash. Call me if you have any questions @ 330-762-1199
