Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

liability for non-profit organization

The non-profit organization that I am a member of is planning a picnic to attract new members. They plan on serving beer and alcohol at no charge. My question is what liability, if any, would the organization have should someone be injured or injure someone else as a result of consuming the alcohol?

Would the executive members be held liable, or just the organization as a whole?

Re: liability for non-profit organization

Liabilty would most likely fall onto the corporation depending on how it is incorporated. Be smart about how the booze is served and monitor people and their keys.
