Legal Question in Personal Injury in Ohio

Personal Injury @ Hotel

I recently stayed at a hotel, in a handicap room, and was wheel chair confined. The L-shaped wooden slat shower seat collapsed while I was using it & caused injury to my tailbone(coccyx area). What law guidelines and codes may I find reference for this injury & may I sue the hotel & the manufacturer for personal injury & negligence? Thank you.

Re: Personal Injury @ Hotel

It's not clear from your email what state you were in when this happened.

You can definitely sue the hotel, who may in turn sue the maker of the product, but for your purposes, contact a personal injury attorney, and let them do the work while you heal.

Keep every receipt even remotely related to this

incident.
