Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My father passed away and I was on the deed so upon death his home transferred to me. His will specifically gave other items away to other members of the family. Mostly cars and money. All the items mentioned in the will have been given to said recipients. Now I have family members wanting items out of the house which I know own. Things not mentioned in the will. Example. Tools. Because these items were not specifically mentioned in the will and they are in the property I now own are they mine? Or do I have to fight to keep them

There should be a provision in the will that addresses this issue so it is difficult to answer without reviewing the will itself and knowing what the items are that are being disputed. I would advise you to have an attorney evaluate the will and the specific circumstances and that attorney can give you legally based and accurate answer to your question.
