Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I live in Ohio. I have a will that is filed in Cuyahoga County that is in my old, married name. I got divorced many years ago and took my maiden name back. I have not remarried. Is that will still valid? If so, what do I need to do to get rid of it?

Thank you.

You can go to Cuyahoga County probate court and request the will back at any time. I would also recommend executing a new will since you have had a significant change in your life and have a different name. Once you have executed the new will, you can destroy the old one. If I can assist you in any way please contact me at 216-378-7570, my website is: www.socrateslegal.com.
