mother died 3 mos. ago--no will-numerous bills-2 liens on house-house in bad disrepair--daughters can't pay--can we just walk away or how do we settle this?

Sorry for the loss of your mother. What you can do depends on whether there are other assets in the estate. If a probate estate is required, you may file for an insolvency. If there are no other assets, you may be able to simply negotiate with the bank or banks to take house in lieu of foreclosure.
