Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I recently was awarded a large cash settlement for wrongful death for the death of my mother. I am 23 years old and I know that I'm not the best at handling money. I decided to have my grandmother set up a trust for me so that she could dispense my money as I need it. She set up a "special needs" trust for me and she and my uncle are the trustees on the account. My uncle has convinced my grandmother to stop giving me enough money for me to live on. I totally regret giving her control of my money. I was wondering if there would be a way to get my money out of the trust and into my bank account. I'd be willing to give a large portion of my money to a lawyer if I could get my money into an account that I control. Thank you.

It would depend on the terms of the special needs trust. If these were your funds there should be provisions in there that allow you to terminate a trustee. But again, the trust would need to be reviewed to see what options you have.
