Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My son father who have other children died and did not leave a will. However, he told all his children what they should get. My son the only child with his name on birthcertificate is in u.s.a. and unable to go back to t'dad and have appointed his other sibbling to go forth with a lawyer. I was promised moneys from him to go to t'dad and take care of him. I gave up everything and did this. Now the other children have declared war and treats towarda me. How do i go about to make a claim.

Your facts are a bit confusing but if the deceased did not have a will, then your son may be the only heir if he is the only legal child of his father. The other children must establish that he was their natural or adopted father in order to inherit.
