Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

If my husband called the sheriff's dept, inquired about non-violent domestic disputes and my rights regarding my children, told them my name, and did not formerly file a report-verified by public records search, would there be any record kept at all of the call or my name?

Maybe. If your husband called to file a report there should be a documented dispatch log. If a deputy was dispatched there would still be a document of that call regardless of whether or not a report was written. Generally, a police report needs to be written anytime a citizen is making a report which may involve a violation of the law. If your husband just called the Sheriff's dept. and spoke with a deputy over the phone and was just asking generic questions about the law there likely would not be an official record of that.

You can call the Sheriff's dept. and request any reports that have been written based on your address or your name and that should clear up any questions regarding whether or not a police report was made.
