Re: small claims court-punitive damages

There are no punitive damages in Small Claims Court in Oklahoma; the maximum recovery amount is $5,000.00; the process is merely filling out a Small Claims Affidavit (I beleive Oklahma County Court Clerk's office has forms)and filing the paperwork... it is set for trial within a couple of weeks (depending on the county)and finally; yes, the company can have a lawyer represent them.
