i have been server with a summons to appair in court on a debt i have from 2006 and I'm not working and am disabled no money to spare . am living with my daughter . can they take my social security money i get.

It sounds as though a debt collector has sued you for a debt you failed to pay. There are certain defenses that can be put forth in these cases, although it's possible you do not have a defense. If the debt collector gets a judgment against you, they can garnish money and wages, however social security wages may be exempt. It's probably worthwhile for you to contact an attorney who can review the complaint, your facts, and give you advice as to your options.
