Re: landloard

I don't have the answer to your question, but I see by your zip code that you appear to be in the Portland area. I would urge you to contact Oregon Legal Services (legal aid) for Multnomah County. They used to have a "TENANT HOTLINE" anyone could call, for questions such as yours. If not, try calling some of the lawyers listed in the Portland DEX Yellow Pages, in the sub-category by type of practice, under "landlord" or "tenant."

By the way, your question appears to be improperly posted under "civil rights," although I can understand why. But, see if LawGuru has a separate heading under "tenant" or "Landlord-tenant," and try re-posting for better luck in a response.

Good luck!
