Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oregon

I moved into a house that my aunt and uncle owned that they wanted me to buy on a lease option, but it turned out they had not paid the mortgage in over three years they took my money until my aunt found out what was going on. My aunt told me to pay the utilities only and there was no way to save the house. Last week I get a text from my uncle stating I have to pay 1360 by the 31st to save the house. I asked for paper work from the bank he would not give me any. Now today he threated me with a 72 hour eviction from the sheriffs office for not paying this money to him. Can he do this without paper work? I have two small children, and I'm not sure If have any rights/Please let me know Thank you

The sheriff's office will not evict you without a court order. The court will not grant an order without him filing and serving you a proper 72-hour notice that states the correct amount of rent due under your lease agreement--and not just an arbitrary number that he makes up. Don't let him bully you. You might want to take a copy of any notices he's given you to an attorney and certainly will want to talk with an attorney if you get a summons and complaint asking that you appear in court.
