Legal Question in Disability Law in Pennsylvania

offensive website targets disabled people

A web site www.uglypeople.com has some how aquired a photo of me. I was told by a local law firm that once a photo is posted is fair game. In some respects I understand that. However, being labeled as ugly due to the fact of my disability that has left me deformed smaller than normal and unable to walk. Where is this right just becaue I have a picture online for some one to lable me as ugly. It is not just myself but other disabled people who I am sure did not send in their photo just as I had done to me. I have written them asking to take my photo down nearly a week ago they claim they need proof. What kind I don't know. Is there ANY legal action that can be placed for this web site to be responsible for the harassment and undue stress I have been under along with family and friends have been effected. I do hope some one can give me helpful answeres

Re: offensive website targets disabled people

I visited the site after seeing your message.

Bin Laden is on the first page.

Then one has to click on lots of subdirectories.

Where is your picture? How did you find it?

How did you know it was there?

How would your friends and relatives know it was there?

Very wierd.

Did you put it up yourself in order to sue?????
