Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

pet store that I got a judgement against filed bankrupcy

I sold birds worth 4000.00 to a pet store. He promised to pay weekly and when I didn't get a payment for 8 months I took him to small claims court and got a judgement against him. within 2 weeks I get a notice that he has filed bankrupcy. this has been hard on me as I am a disabled senior citizen. Is there a form I can file to get the 4000.00 off the bankrupcy. I am sure he is going to bounce back since he is 38 yrs old. any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to file a notice of claim in the bankruptcy case. You may also be able to recover the actual birds if they are unsold.
