Is it legal for a business to base your pay raise on the number of credit card applications you aquire for that business?

I see nothing why this would be illegal. Pa is a very employer friendly state. If your position involves sales or marketing of any type, I think that it is okay for the employer to base a raise on your increasing your employer's business. On the other hand, if you work in a warehouse or someplace where you have no customer contat, this might be unfair, but, there is probably nothing you can do about it. You can file a complaint with the Pa state wage board, but you would also be jeopardizing your job.
