Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

I belonged to a healthclub and also had personal training. The reason I had to go there is because I have a health issue that needs to be corrected. The healthclub or personal training company are separate from each other. They get into each others business they favor certain members. While I had personal training there was a female at the healthclub who was harrassing me. I went to the healthclub and the personal training company and they did nothing about this. The personal training company threatens me that they will press charges against me. Now I am not allowed back into the gym again, and I was told by the police I will be arrested if I contact the trainer or the woman harrassing me. The trainer I had was also seeing this woman. I was told by the personal training company that if any of their trainers were involved with their clients they would get fired. I enjoyed going to that gym. I am out of work and that club was reasonable. What are my rights?

Sorry for the problems, but you don't have any rights. A business is free to do business with anyone it wishes so long as it does so without regard to a protected class.

In this case, you should probably walk away from the situation. It is unlikely that the harassment is actionable unless it involved unwanted physical contact.

Regards,

Roger
