Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

Cheeseburger

Hi I got a sandwich from McDonalds last night and there was a long long thick white string or worm or somethin in the meat I asked my mom she said it looked like a worm but what should I do? I kept my receipt. Do I have a case?

Re: Cheeseburger

You asked about a nasty McDonald's cheeseburger.

First, you're eating at McDonald's, are you expecting fine cuisine?

Second, the receipt isn't relevant, the burger is relevant. Did you keep the burger? Brings up the old joke, what's worse than finding a worm in an apple? Finding half a worm in an apple.

Third, unless you became ill or were otherwise injured the claim is probably worth almost nothing. Was there somehow a causative effect between the nasty cheeseburger and a subsequent stay in the intensive care unit at a hospital?

Otherwise you probably have little to know claim.

Regards,

Roger
