Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

fight

my 17 year old ( at the time ) on Christmas day was at the movie theatre and a fight broke out inside. As a result he broke his leg and will have a cast up to his knee for 6 weeks. Is this grounds for a lawsuit?

Re: fight

The issue of premises liability requires more facts. The theater may have responsibility if they improperly supervised the situation or allowed it to devlop without taking appropriate action. As for the person who actually caused the injury he if identifiable may also be liable. Of course if your child voluntarily joined the altercation this may diminsh responsiblity. I suggest you speak with an attorney immediately. Give my office a call I would be happy to speak with you regarding this matter.
