selling video tapes

I tapes show & movies off my tv. I have thousands of tapes. Can I sell them at my yard sale.

You asked if you may sell tapes of copyrighted programs.

No. You may not legally sell copies of copyrighted programs without the consent of the copyright holders.

I would go so far as to say that you should not sell the tapes (as blank tapes) unless you degaussed the tapes.
