Cival suit

cival action suit filed against me,for a cell phone bill. sherrif served papers to my mother instead of me.she does live at same residents.i had 20 days to respond.my job reqires me to be away from home for multiply days.at least 8 days had expired before i even seen the papers,in which i was not served!was i affically served notice to this cival action/court case?

Re: Cival suit

Retain an attorney. One should not ignore time limitations. The other party is required to send out a ten day notice of default after the twenty days before filing a default.You will lose by default if you do not respond.
