Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Collecting on a promissory note

I have a promissory note for $10,000 with a company a friend of mine owns. I have been attempting to collect on said note for the past year. I have received some payments but some of the payment checks have bounced. My question is: How can I use the legel system to force this person to become current with this note, and how can i use the legal system to force him to continue payment until the note is paid in full.

Re: Collecting on a promissory note

The best thing to do is to force your friend to pay by getting a judgement against him and work on collecting the judgement.

My firm has alot of experience in this area, we do this type of work on contingency fee, there is no fee unless we collect for you.
