collections

A collection co. bought my credit card debt.I told them I have all intentions of paying them. They are taking me to court. What happens if they win a judgement against me in civil court? How much time do I have to pay?

Depending upon which collection agency is involved, you may be better off by not paying them. Collection agency lawsuits are easily defended.

Regarding your specific question, the court does not set a time frame. That is between you and the creditor to work out.
