Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Hi, I have a property in PA that I did not reaffirm through a Chapter 7 back in 2011; if the lender forecloses on that property; will lender report to credit bureaus. Lender has not reported since 2011.

In a chapter 7, you discharge all of your debts. But if you want to keep property, you keep paying for it. If you decide to stop paying at some point later, the lender will foreclose. Since you did not reaffirm the debt, the lender is limited to the property. Your liability was discharged in bankruptcy and the bankruptcy will be on your credit report for 10 years from the date of discharge. The mortgage should be reported as included in bankruptcy or words to that effect. There is no further liability on your part so the foreclosure should not be on the report.
