Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My fianc recently told me he cheated on me and now the man of the other party is harassing him for obvious reasons. He texted him messages things and wanted to meet up with him alone. He told him he would not meet with him alone. He told him he would meet him in a parking lot with me. The man said (former friend) said he would meet us at our house. He did not hit him but gripped him up by the throat and told him it was not over. I told him he needed to stay away so all parties could start the healing process. We are afraid because we know this guy has a license to carry a weapon. He has not made contact with us since he came to the house on Friday. We have saved the entire text message he has sent. What should we do?

For God's sake, file a complaint against him...he had no right to grip anyone by the throat.

Go to the police in the locality where it happened and talk to them and ask their guidance.

Nip it in the bud.

Good luck!
