Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

How long does the Judge have to sentence someone after a conviction of guilty in a Child Molestation case? If not sentenced in that length of time what happens next? Is the person a free man or what?

Good question. The first step after conviction is to determine if the person convicted is a sexually violent predator. After that the person is sentenced.

I would think it is unlikely that the perpetrator is free. I would think if he had been on bail that would be revoked. So until the sentence is imposed he will be in the county prison.
