Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Public Drunkenness/Open Lewdness

I was charged early friday morning

with public drunkenness (never given

any test) and open lewdness

(urinating in a near-empty parking

lot). This is my first offense of any

type. I can not afford to have this on

my record since I am a teacher and

am currently filling out applications

for new position. What is my best

option?

You want to go for ARD Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition. You agree to do community service, pay costs and stay out of trouble for 6 months and then the case will be off the record.
