Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

purchase controlled substance

I was with a friend in his car when he made a purchase of marujuana but never recieved it the dealer was an undercover, we were both arrested, I was charged with purchase of a controlled substance but i didnt have money/drugs/weapons involved in it/it wasnt my car and i didnt say anything in the car with the undercover, my question is can they take this all the way?

No. They should not be able to convict you based on what you stated. If the police have other information or evidence, it's a different story. There is a caselaw that states that "merely being present" when a crime occurs is not enough. You should still consult with an attorney.
