Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Hello, I received an email from somebody accusing me of the following:

- INVASION OF PRIVACY AND STALKING

- LISTENING IN ON A PHONE CONVERSATION

- INVADE PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE

- LISTENING IN ON HER PRIVATE LIFE THROUGH THE PHONE

These accusations above are absolutely counter factual (false) and I replied with an email denying the accusations and with a CEASE AND DESIST letter advising them that under Pennsylvania law, it is unlawful to engage in defamation of anothers character and reputation by making false accusations.

Let's start with the accusations.

Invasion of Privacy -- Doesn't appear in Title 18 (where crimes are defined)

Stalking -- That's a crime but so what it's not a felony and what are the specifics?

Listening in on a phone conversation -- Possibly a violation of the wiretap act but

what are the specifics?

INVADE PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE --- Not a crime

LISTENING IN ON HER PRIVATE LIFE THROUGH THE PHONE -- Not a crime and I'm not sure it's even possible.

In addition to being false as you claim 2 of the are grammatically incorrect.

Actually you legally incorrect defaming some was is a tort and a civil not criminal matter.

That said your accuser sounds a bit round the bend. I just avoid any contact with them.
