Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My son and I have been having problems recently and the police came to my house after my son for marijuana, and stealing money from his job. My son then told the cop that I had marijuana in my house ---the cop told me that he could get a search warrant and a police man or he would be there until the search warrant was issued and I could not leave the house---so i might as well tell him where it was. I turned over a small amount of marijuana and a pipe that was left over at my house from a party I had in July he then proceeded to take the marijuana and told me that we would handle it later. I signed nothing etc---This all happened in mid November in December the detective contacted me had me come in told me he could charge me with possession and a pipe still could not tell me how much weed there was---he said I could make a deal and and turn over on someone and he could make it go away---I know nobody anymore I have not smoked for years----Is this my only option?

I would highly suggest that you consult with an attorney asap. I would further suggest that you not have any further contact with the police without first consulting with an attorney. Finally, I would advise against you posting any details of this case online, even on sites such as this.

By consulting with an attorney, the attorney could review all of the relevant facts and could then best advise you on the options. The attorney could try to work something out with the police officer or if charges were filed, the attorney could assist in dealing with that. Either way, this is not something that you should handle on your own without an attorney.

If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me, I offer free phone consultations.
