Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

speeding tickets

I was pulled over by a police officer, and he only asked for my license. I asked if he also want my registration or insurance and he said no he didn't need it. He then issued me a speeding ticket. Is he required to ask for that information and would this ticket be invalid because he didn't ask for it? He also stated that he was recording the conversation, so me asking him if he needs it is on tape.

Re: speeding tickets

Think about what you are asking... Unless he gave you a ticket related to your registration or insurance, why would his saying he did not need them be material? The answer to your question is no, it does not matter.
